Albanian Student Organization is a cultural and professional organization among Albanian students that will be future healthcare professionals in the US.The number of Albanian students going to MCPHS is going up year by year and the number of non albanian students that are interested in our language and culture is shocking, these facts indicate that it’s time to have our organization in campus. Our group main mission will be to share and educate students who might be interested in learning more about our amazing, culture, traditions, language, history, origin, ethnicity and many more. We as an organization are pleased and excited to be given the chance to start this organization in a prestigious college in Boston and to share more about our culture with our Americans and international friends. Recently from a historical study held in Switzerland, an ancient village in east Albania, Lin, was announced as the oldest inhabited area in Europe, once again proofing that Albanians are the descendants of Illyrians and of the oldest population in the world. We want to share those amazing facts and researches with our fellow interested students. Our language is another hidden gem of the world’s languages, one of the oldest spoken languages in the world. Another mission will be to present the Albanian language into MCPHS curriculum.
